Surrounded by the spectacular South San Juan Wilderness Area, there are many US Forest Service trails and roads to accommodate your hiking and biking adventures. Hot springs, fine dining, river rafting and other activities abound in the surrounding national forest as well as in the town of Pagosa Springs, which is just 20 miles away.

Guest Registration forms and your copy of the Campground Rules can be found in the Registration Box in the parking area. One Guest Registration form should be completed per guest and the completed form(s) should be put back into the registration box before heading to the campground. The campground is through the small green gate which is across from the parking area. The campground is located about 120 yards from the parking area. A cart is provided to transport your stuff.

HOUSE RULES

Cannabis and Tobacco…Consumption of cannabis is permitted throughout the campground and in the tipis for individuals ages 21 and up, per Amendment 64 of the Colorado Constitution.Smoking of tobacco products is not allowed in the tipis, restroom, shower facility, kitchen or breakfast area. Dispose of your butts properly – not on the ground or in the river.Food Prep and Storage…Put your coolers, food, beverages, toiletries, cosmetics, etc. into the “Bear Box” before retiring for the evening. Animals are attracted to anything with a fragrance. Cooking and food prep is allowed in the kitchen area ONLY. For your safety, garbage and wastewater are removed from the kitchen area by 10 PM.Campfire…When there is no wind and conditions are favorable, fires are allowed in the community fire pit. The fire must be completely contained within the fire ring (about 2’ x 2’).NO OTHER FIRES ARE PERMITTED ON THE PROPERTY and WOOD GATHERING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED!!! A bow saw is provided to cut the provided wood into smaller pieces. DO NOT leave the fire unattended – if you start it, you must tend it. THE CAMPFIRE MUST BE EXTINGUISHED BY 10 PM.The Land…Do not alter or attach anything to the trees. HAMMOCKS are NOT PERMITTED!!!All fenced and livestock areas are off limits. Do not feed or handle the animals. Lost digits are the responsibility of the owner.STAY ON THE TRAILS AND AVOID AREAS OF EROSION. We have placed steps, walkways and bridges for your convenience and the protection of the natural environment.Any modifications to the TP’s will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. Scented candles, incense, aromatics, tobacco and combustible materials are not permitted in TP’s.Dogs…Dogs must be kept on a leash and under the owner’s control at ALL times. Dog droppings must be picked up and placed in the receptacle located at the top of the hill above the campground. Campers who do not pick up after their dogs or do not keep them under control will forfeit their stay. PITS and FIGHTING BREEDS are NOT WELCOME!Fishing…Fishing is permitted with a valid Colorado fishing license, which must be shown to the host prior to tossing a line into the water. Artificial flies and lures only.

CANCELLATION

Guests have the right to a full refund if cancelling within 24 hours of booking. Within 14 days of arrival , Guests receive a 50% refund. After this time, the full cost of the booking will apply.
